‘What the Dickens!’ has been adapted by Suzi Hopkins and

will be directed by Stephen Israel creators of Mayfield Community Play.

Suzi’s narrative script links Dicken’s life with memorable extracts from his books, and excerpts from his speeches and writings. Stephen is planning live music as part of the event, inclu

ding excerpts from Dicken’s favourite composers; the Mayfield Hand Bell Ringers; and Victorian songs from the Mayzing Community Choir.
