PLOT
The play follows the voyage of six women convicts – Winnie, Madge, Pitty, Charlotte, Nance and Sarah being transported as punishment to Australia in 1807, brutally managed by their imposing jailer Sarge. The voyage takes 6 months, and their treatment is harsh. However, there is much humour amongst the women as they forge friendships and alliances to help survive the ordeal.
